Rye bread is a type of bread made with various proportions of flour from rye grain. It can be light or dark in color, depending on the type of flour used and the addition of coloring agents, and is typically denser than bread made from wheat flour. Our 50% Rye bread is light in colour and does not contain caraway seeds. This lighter texture and more palatable flavour makes it a great favourite for sandwich making. This 600g loaf comprises almost 3% paprika in the dough - it has a sweet, mild pepper flavour. It's baked in a tin - generating a more uniform shape and slice size - all the better for making those yummy sandwiches!
