Made to share! Build a "sub" and split it with your favourite person... Hand grilled over an open flame - short of having open coal fires in our bakery, this is as traditional as it gets.  

INGREDIENT DECLARATION

Wheat Flour (gluten), Water, Yeast, Sugar, Salt, Bread Improver, Preservative: Calcium propionate.

HEATING INSTRUCTIONS

Remember, these roosterkoek have already been grilled - you only need to heat them through...

Braai: Place the braai grid over evenly distributed direct coals and allow to heat for 5 minutes. Lightly grease the grid and place the rolls directly on it for about 5 minutes.

Oven: Preheat oven to about 180ºC/350ºF. Place directly onto an oven rack for about 5 - 7 minutes.
